If I commission an artist to do some original work that involves characters from my movie script "Birds of May: Daring Days", who would control the copyright? Would it be me or the artist? I need the copyright to be mine if I'm to use it on posters, cups, T-shirts...ect.
Can someone please shed some light on this subject in a rapid fashion? I don't wish to wait a year for this answer unlike my last comment that has yet to be answered.
