So ive just moved to SC with someone with my small child. Now upon coming it was my understanding that we were gonna be only friends. We would help eachother get out of the hole we are each in from previous reletionships. Well now that we are here and i have absolutely no one here and o wont do as he wants he told me i and my small child have to leave. However my name is on the lease. So if i went and put a restraining order on him which of us would have to leave our house?

You have a lease...your roommate cannot just kick you out.
For what reason would you file for a RO? A RO is not a tool to solve disagreements between roommates.

Note: You can't "put a restraining order on him". That is not how it works.

If you've concluded that moving in with the person you thought to be "Mr. Right" has revealed he's always been "Mr. Wrong"; get out now.

Don't allow financial considerations to force you to stay.

Use this misstep as a life lesson.

Don't become ROMANTICALLY or FINANCIALLY involved with anyone NOT your lawfully wedded spouse!!!

Don't delay your departure, because the life you lose and/or the pain you feel, isn't worth it.

Never linger with or around anywhere you feel uncomfortable.

The lives you save might belong to you and your innocent child!!!
