I work for a wholesale/manufacturing company as a salesman, I want to do retail consulting on the side on my own time. I've written a book and three more in the works, can my corprate own the rights to my book? There are no trade secrets or any mention of my company in the book. The book is to be self published and used to market my services as an advisor in the retail business, how can I protect my intellectual property whether it is a book, training manual or audio tapes? Can my corporation sue me, terminate me or stop the publishing or distrobution of the book?
