My son was charged with felony burglary - car hopping. Originally they charged him with 10 counts but nolle prosed all but one and withheld adjudication on the one that was left. He went through their Matrix program and got early release. According to the records they actually had him on probation while he was in the program and he was released from probation as soon as he completed the program. He is applying for an apartment now and they are asking if anyone was charged, detained, or arrested for a felony that was resolved by conviction, probation, deferred adjudication, court ordered community supervision or pretrial diversion. I am assuming he has to say yes to that question? He is now working and going full time to college.

Yes, he should answer truthfully. If he can't answer truthfully, don't apply. But, he should never lie about what transpired. Unless he's pardoned, this will always stain his record, despite what he may have been told.
