Wrongful ID

My daughter was arrested for "theft from motor vehicle" by the "positive id of the person robbed. She was id'ed because of the hoodys she & her friends where wearing. She also happened to be home with these friends when the robbery took place. By the time the case was dismissed for lack of evidence it cost me $2000. Can I sue Her to reclaim this lose? If so how do I go about it and should I sue her or my daughter or both?

If you did pay for your daughter's defense and what have you, you can sue her in small claims court. Hope this helps!
