The massage was not the most professional.
No oil
no flip
just front side.
And they demanded a tip of over $50. So I paid for one hour plus tip.
The place seemed shady as well
They did ask, but did ask for neck and head massage. They didn't ask if wanted oil etc but since I paid cash for $75 for 1 hour thought that was part of it.Your post contains virtually no relevant facts.
What does that mean?
So? Was there an agreement ahead of time that oil would be used?
What?
Front side of what?
Body
No one is obligated to tip.
One place I went way before this place this was pressuring me to tip $10 before I left , and argued. I lied and made up excuses to pay next time. I never went back to other place. And won't go to this place again either.
Then why did you go there in the first place?
Pain, try out
I'm disputing with bank , used debit though. So far no refund. If you paid by credit card, you're free to dispute the charge with your card issuer.
Would a small claims against a massage parlor for poor service be a winning case?
Massages absent a LICENSED MEDICAL PROVIDER are indeed SKETCHY. It might be WISER and SAFER NOT TO FREQUENT such establishments. The place seemed shady as well

Well the whole expectations was for a good body massage. And for one hour. I was hoping it was professional. From what the videos on their website it showed professional massages. But in person from my experience- plus the comments I later read on yelp were the same experiences I had reported. You didn't answer most of the questions I asked. That doesn't help when you are asking for assistance with a legal matter.
Also, the above sentences don't make sense. First you say, "They did ask," but then the very next sentence starts with, "They didn't ask."
Based only on what you've written (which is the only source of information we have), your ONLY complaint is that oil wasn't used for a head and neck massage. If that was something that was important to you, you should have mentioned it before you started or at some point during the massage. The service provider has no way of knowing your unexpressed expectations.
Also, FYI (and you could have learned this with a simple Google search), the small claims filing fee in Illinois is a minimum of $287. To sue over $75 would be a monumental waste of time and money.
Would a complaint to the consumer affairs or BBB or ADR be options to get the money back if the bank fails?
