That's one of the ways to help keep dementia at bay. Keep learning, keep exploring, keep the mind active. Law school is definitely stimulating and a challenge at any age. It doesn't sound like she has any interest in practicing law. There are, however, many other things for which a legal education can be very useful. If you've had a long term dream, don't keep putting it off for another day when it might be a better time. People who do that lose their opportunity because they keep pushing off until they are dead or are no longer capable to do it. Rarely in life is it ever the perfect time to do anything.

As I've aged, I haven't lost my desire to read good books, my Bible, do crossword puzzles, or cease learning. I'm no longer required to do anything the bar requires, however, I visit the law firm I founded every two or three weeks to discuss things with our new first year associates, and find myself mentoring them as required outside of our monthly get together. My daughter runs the firm day to day, and she's doing a great job.

You're correct, if I can, I run two miles daily. I exercise and do aerobics, too. Thanks for reminding us to never cease your quest for knowledge, especially for reading books you've read in high school and college. My favorite book is the Holy Bible my grandmother gifted me, the day I left for Army Basic Training. Its tattered, worn, and a bit raggedy, much like its owner.

Outstanding, Groucho worked the timing of his delivery, plus he possessed a very unique method at dropping funny lines and jokes. Alas, as much as I liked Groucho (and his brothers), George Burns and Jack Benny remain tied at my number one funny men.

Alas, Groucho sits at my number three. I can't forget Andy Griffin, his acting talents made him a funny man, as well as a serious actor. Contract The Andy Williams Show with Matlock. Amazingly talented men.
