Hello everyone, about 5 years ago I was honored an expungement it stats for New Mexico department of justice to remove the charges from the public. Last week I sent in for a background and the charges are still. None of the charges on the sheet gave a case number, they have a number but they do not match my case numbers however they are the charges from the expungement. I contacted them explained the situation and they said they can't remove them because the court order don't have the same case numbers however ever they are the charges. I don't know how to go about this any suggestions

If you're serious about your criminal activity POSSIBLY being CONCEALED from public view, you need to retain the services of an attorney licensed to practice law in New Mexico. Otherwise, successfully navigating the rocky waters of EXPUNGEMENT OCEAN will only further upset, anger, and stymy you. Good luck, pilgrim.

Effective January 1, 2020, a new Criminal Records Expungement Act, Sections 29-3A-1 through 29-3A-7 NMSA 1978 took effect. This Act allows a qualifying individual to petition a court for expungement of a number of criminal and related public records. Pursuant to that statute, New Mexico Administrative Code("NMAC") Rule also took effect: Rule 10.2.2 NMAC Expungement of Arrest Records and Related Public Records
