    i was given a ticket for an illegal consumption and told the cop i had been drinking and was nervous about going to jail but less than 12 hours later i took an 80 hour alcoholtest and it came up negative. can it get dimissed

    I live in FL and am having problems with some coworkers stating stuff that is not true to other coworkers, is it ok to audio tape them(not to take to court or anything, just to let my boss know what is going on in the office) please help asap.

    An 84 yr old lady had bought a dog.2 months later she had a stroke.Ive been taking care of the dog for 3 years now!Now all of the sudden her power of attorney is saying he wants me to give the dog to her friend.Is the dog mine or theres now?

    I am writing to find out what i need to do. We have a family friend who is 14. She lost her mother a couple years ago and is now living with her step dad and half brother and step brother. She has no idea who real dad is or even if he is alive the last she heard he wasnt. Her step dad does not have legal custody of her only a marriage licence showing that her mom and him were married. She does not like her situation./ Her step dad is recieving death benefits through Social Securtiy on all three children. She does not see a dime of that money. What can we do legally to have her live with us? We live in Arkansas.

    I moved from California to Orgen in June 2008. I gave my parents a notarized letter stating that my kids (Dot 16 almost 17) and Robyn (15 almost 16 and she has a 7 mo. old son) could stay the summer with them. The letter states that they could not take them out of CA, can not register them in school and that I will give a 2 week notice before I send for them. My kids now do not want to come out here and my father has mentioned attorney. I told the kids that they will lose their SSI and that my grandson will lose his medical because he is under my medical. They told me that Their grandparents told them that they don't have to move and that he will add all of them to his insurance. I did go back their in June and picked up my 12 year old child but the oldest 2 didn't want to leave. What can I do.

    Hi, I recently sold a motorcycle, my buyer had issues with it, and now is sueing me for a ridiculous repair cost, even though I offered to help him fix it for 1/4 the price the shop quoted him. After he took ownership he had mechanical difficulties, crashed the bike due to his own negligence(not directly because of the aforementioned mechanical issues), had the estimate for damage done after the crash, and after he had had ownership for a week. My full story is listed under the "small claims" category. Any help with advice on where I stand legally is appreciated. Thank you.

    I hadnt pushed this bc i didnt know I might possibly have a legit claim. 3 months ago a friend and I co-signed a 6 month lease wtih an apartment complex. I paid the depsit and first months rent, with agreemnts he would pay to have the other utilities turned on. Exaclty 2 days after moving in he informed me that he was staying at home and not moving in with me. He hasnt lived one day in the apartment and only has attempted once to give a portion of money he owes me for half rent so far, and mind you I didnt get it either bc the bank wont cash the check he gave me due to him being negative. I have all signed documnts for the lease, i have money order and bank stubs were I have paid the rent, and even the complex is willing to state that he never moved in and who paid the depoit and rent . Do I have somthing here? If so what do I do? l live in TN....i have tried finding a room mate...even tried to down grade to a one bed room. but bc of contact with the complex i have to stay in this apartment for 6 months then i can break the year contract and down grade. i just need help into where to go now, i dont klnow what papers to fill out or were to star first, i need direction were to go from here. i have all the documents that i need on my part, i dont know what legal filing docs i need or how to submit them. thank for ANY help at all

    Issues With Food Lion Store
    We did work for a food lion Grocery store (repairs on wheel chairs in the front of the store) They refuse to pay our invoices because they say we had no vendor number with them, however when we called on the stores the management welcomed us in and signed our paperwork our work orders and said we did a great job and how happy they are.

    The Food lion sent us a letter and e-mail saying they will pay full amount of parts installed but not what they owe in trip charges and less than 1/2 of the labor that is signed off by store managers. They have working wheel chairs and most were broken for two months before we got there.

    the total amount they owe is 22,0000 they want to settle for a little less than 8,000. should i tell them to stick it and sue them?

    Hello, I have a question hopefully you can answer. I worked for a carpet cleaning company and I bought my own van and cleaner to use on the side. Well, I was fired for not telling my boss I bought a van of my own. Now he has a lawyer writing me about no solicitation of previous businesses I cleaned for. He said I signed a no compitition paper. I know I never signed this paper and asked him for a copy. The boss said his lawyer had the form. I called the lawyer and asked him for a copy and told him I never signed one. He said he didnt have it and is claiming I some how stole it from my file which is totally untrue. I know this because as I stated I never signed one. He says he is going to take me to court and claim I stole the letter to get me to now be able to clean at his previous properties which have told me they want to use me since they know my work and they can dictate whom they have clean their properties, not my former boss. What leg do they have to stand on when it comes to this, can they sue me for something that never existed? This is America and built on free enterprise or so I thought. Please, any information you can share with me is greatly appreciated.

    my ex-wife has physical custody of our 3 children, yet never has them with her. They have been staying with MY 74 year old grandmother for 2 months. I pay child support and have them when I am not working, but she will not turn custody over to me as she does not get along with my current wife. My Grandmother is caring for them because her living conditions and lifestyle are terrible. I feel like I have no rights...What do I do?

    i need help. there was a 12 year old boy gunned down by local state troopers. one of the officers uncle is a key staff member in the da's office. i want to file a petion to challenge the right the da had to investigate the shooting , due to conflict of interst..i have been in the law books and can't find info on how to file the petion and what level of court
