Age discrimination

all you have to prove in an age discrimination is that you are old/ older and that your age led to the discrimination. You really don't have to prove anything else. Like as has been said you really should not have a problem getting a lawyer to take your case. Good Luck.

But if the employer provides evidence of a non-discriminatory reason for the termination, the plaintiff has to rebut that assertion and prove that the reason asserted by the employer isn't the real reason for termination. Age discrimination cases are among the harder employment discrimination cases to prove. If the OP goes into federal court without a lawyer on this, I don't rate his chances very high.

That depends on how good the OP's case is. And we don't have enough information to determine that. And the fact that the OP filed his own complaint first will make it harder to get a lawyer. I wouldn't take a case where the client has filed his/her own complaint because generally those complaints are not well done, and that then hamstrings the case from the start.
