She hit me on my head. Causing two several headpain. I am still feeling pain if I press my finger against it.I see absolutely no basis for personal jurisdiction in a U.S. court, so any suit would have to be brought in France, where she lives, or in the UK, where the alleged "abuse" occurred (and note that I asked how she "abused" you but you didn't answer that).
I also see virtually no substantive basis for a lawsuit. The only clear thing you've said is that she "had the access to airbnb bookings" (which I assume means that she booked accommodations), and then "just cancelled all accomandations [sic]." At most, you might have a claim for breach of an implied contract and that your damages might be the cost of whatever alternative accommodations you paid for. However, that cost would be capped by the cost of changing your return flight to an earlier day.
Even if you did sue in the U.S. and somehow get a judgment, what good will it do you? It will have cost you thousands of dollars in attorneys' fees, none of which would be recoverable. How would you enforce the judgment? I'm assuming this French resident doesn't have any assets in the U.S. on which you might levy to try and satisfy the judgment. If that's the case, then the only way to enforce the judgment would be to try and domesticate the judgment in France. That'll cost you thousands of additional dollars, and you might not be successful because a French court could decide that no personal jurisdiction existed in the U.S. (even if a U.S. court already decided that issue in your favor).
If a meaningless victor that costs you (tens of) thousands of dollars is of value to you, then you might be able to find a bad and unethical attorney willing to take your money. I submit, however, that the money would be better spent buying a dummy, slapping her face on it, and going out in the middle of nowhere and using it for target practice.
What did the UK (or whatever) police say when you reported it?She hit me on my head. Causing two several headpain. I am still feeling pain if I press my finger against it.
I didn't report it because at that time I still want to replies it. My friend saw I was injured though. What did the UK (or whatever) police say when you reported it?

I went to the school hospital after two mouths because I still feeling pain. Tey said it's looking fine but need follow-up to check again. I missed the follow-up because I was really depressed and don't have strength to take care my physical conditions. I will schedule an appointment again and see if I can get a brainscan.Have you seen a physician about the beating the female A$$HOLE administered to you?
If not, why not?
You should seek an thorough physical examination along with a branscan.
You won't necessarily notice serious symptoms until its too late.
. I will schedule an appointment again and see if I can get a brainscan.
Thank you. It's already been four mouths so it's probably fine. But I don't know why it's still in pain. That would be extremely prudent.
Let us know what the MRI/SCAN reveals.
Remember, you don't want any vessels spewing your blood around your brain.

Huh? What do you mean by this statement?I didn't report it because at that time I still want to replies it. My friend saw I was injured though.

She's been sending suicide incitement things to me while I was in U.S., would that be a reason? I might not nesscearily want the money, just maybe it would let me walk out from this.OK...that's a valid basis for a judgment (although it isn't worth much $$). However, everything else I wrote stands. There's no basis for jurisdiction in the U.S., and it will cost you more than you could possibly recover to sue in the UK or France.
Thank you very much for your advice. I do told other people that she hits me and I think my friend can stand out to prove that I was injured. I also went to crisis centre in Edinburgh and talked to them, but I am not sure whether they still have the records. In our message history I pointed out that she punched me and she didn't denies. Here's the thing: all arguments are strengthened by actual proof. Like, a police report, or medical records.
You didn't report it at the time.
You didn't get medical attention at the time.
The place where the injury occurred usually has jurisdiction.
So, look up barristers in the area where the injury occurred, contact 2 or 3, and ask them for advice. Maybe they'll be willing to have a virtual initial consult.

Not so much. The lawyer in PA said he can do $2000 and 20% of composention. I think I can at most pay $8000 on the whole caseDoubtful, but impossible to know without reading. Of course, it's very simple to stop this stuff from happening by blocking this person, changing your phone number, etc.
Nifty. Do you or do you not have the means to pay a lawyer a $20,000 deposit against fees to be incurred? If so, go for it.
In addition to civil lawsuits, is it possible to charge her with assault criminally?
I think in France this constitutes suicide incitement, physical injury and harassment discrimination. Maybe it is also serious. In the United States, it may be considered nied or iied. That's not going to go anywhere. You'd need to convince French authorities that her messages to amount to whatever the equivalent of assualt is in France and that it's worthwhile for the French to pay for extradition to France. I don't see the French law enforcement being willing to pay those expenses even if, by chance, she committed some crime in France with those messages.
