Can I walk out on move in day if there's issues?

Applying in WI for a LITC property that pays 30% of my rent. The landlord wants to move me in quickly. But only wanted to show me video of the apartment. And could show me during move in. And they should have it ready in two weeks they said. I just want to make sure there's no odors or bugs. And since it's a low income property. And my present landlord doesn't go by 40 days notice but only as long as you tell them when you move out. Just don't want to get stuck in a new place if it has bugs, etc. But my current place is bad because people are upstairs make loud noise and smoke gets to me when they smoke here. The new place is one level and supposedly older folks so should be less trouble than where I am living, in IL.

Be smart, don't hurry things. If you're already feeling REGRETS and have begun WORRYING, forget the deal you thought you had.

However, why not find a deal more to your liking? Just slow your roll and seek another option MORE to your liking. Anytime my "spidey senses" tingle, I heed my hesitancy and allow my doubts to prevail. After all, all too often haste makes waste.

The term "haste makes waste" means doing things quickly, often yields unsatisfying, unwanted, undesirable results.

Hold your horses, so you can investigate other options.

No. No. No. No. No. No.

Do not accept the apartment and do not hand over any money UNTIL you have been inside, inspected everything and made sure everything worked.

And since it's a low income property

More than likely will be crap if you agree to the landlord's proposal.

Don't let that cloud your judgment.
