I held a sales position that paid $10 an hour plus commission on every sale. I notified my boss that I was handing in my resignation and he notified me that the company was going to let me go only a few hours after I notified them of my 2 weeks notice. I had nearly $30,000 in open orders to be delivered in the next couple weeks. Am I to be paid on these orders or is it legal for them to take the commission from me?

Do you have any type of written commission agreement - does it cover this?
