I went into a real estate investment with the intention to flip a house in a few short months with a friend who is a real estate agent. The friend turned out to be pulling my leg because he said that I could qualify for a home loan based on my credit score when in acutality he manipulated my application to overstate my income and assets without my consent or knowledge. He forged my name on the deed and mortgage. I expected him to cover the payments because that is the agreement that we had but he stopped making payments after the 2nd month and now the house is in foreclosure. Since he forged my name on the deed and mortgage and mislead me into this shouldn't the contract be void and shouldn't he be charged with fraud? I notified the lender of the situation but have not gotten any response.
