Dad in rehab...

I'll keep the post short... Amicable divorce, 50/50 custody. Dad's been absent because of a drug problem the last 6'ish months. I've had my son full time since late August and now dad has left the area and is checked into rehab.
Dad also isn't working and hasn't been since about June. He was evicted from his apartment and has been homeless (living with friends) for the last month.
My question - Can I get full custody? Should I get full custody? I've enjoyed having my son full time and I'm feeling a little selfish.

You need to do what is in the best intrest of your son.......and not yourself.
If dad has no place for son, and has a drug problem then maybe he needs to have day visits with his son for a while until he gets back on his feet, and can prove he is not using drugs. Remember.....No matter how you may feel about your sons father, he still HIS father. If you try to keep the compleatly apart it could cause more harm then good.........Keep a close eye on the situation, If he is being a decent dad and tring to do the right thing then let him do so.......If he is being a bad dad and avoiding all responsability, using drugs, and is showing no signs of stability then by all means jump in and stop all visits.
