Do you know if Oregon uses the deferment/ probation option?

When does a person ask for deferment or probation? Is it after pleading guilty/not guilty?

I am asking this because I just received a Speed Racing ticket. I need to find out the options I have when I go to court.

Oregon does have a deferment for minor speeding tickets. If they are like other states this cannot be used on a racing violation since it is considered a very serious violation.

My advice would be to retain an attorney. The money you will save on insurance premiums will probably be more than his fee.
