DHR has my checks

dhr has child support checks for me that were returned to them because of wrong address. if the checks have expired, do they have to re-issue the checks to me ? They now have my correct address? Also, they did not turn the checks over to the state unclaimed property

Contact them tomorrow and ask them to send you the checks or reissue them.

Have they had the checks for over 90 days? That's how long it takes for a check to go stale. Don't make problems where they don't exist. Call them and get the checks either re-issued or just resent.
