I recently found out that I had a warrant for my arrest in WV. This warrant was issued for a worthless check in July of 2004 and the check was written in July 2003. Once I found this out I called the Magistrate and they told me that if I would just send them a money order for the amount plus fees and fines that they would dismiss the warrant. What does this mean and how will it affect me later on down the road. Especially since I am in the military and will have to apply for a secret clearance soon!
