Division of assets/threats

the wife and i have filed for divorce(california riverside county). She wants to settle our assets out of court...here is the thing, all we have is a timeshare. we had a condo(financed in her name, before we got married) that was foreclosed on. She is saying that since we are married(only for a little over 2 years, no kids) she will get all my money and any retirement pay i have earned. Is she talking about spousal support? I find this to be completely baseless... is it? Also, can i be made to pay her car insurance, student loans or anything else? by the way, she is working full time. Im still a full time college student, dependent on part time employment, financial aid and the GI bill. I need the record set straight..I want to call her bluff..thanks to anyone who can shed some light on the situation for me

I doubt that any of that is true, but I agree that you do need a lawyer. It doesn't sound like you two can work out a fair settlement.
