Does my husbands ex wife get everything?

My husband of 4 yrs has never gotten around to changing his beneficiary from his ex wife to me. He has life insurance, stocks and Thrift Savings Plan through the US post office where he currently works. If he should die, does his ex get everything even though I am his legal wife now?

She would definitely get the life insurance if she is listed as the beneficiary. If he has a will and she is still listed as his heir she would still get everything until you challenged it and proved that was not his intention.
