So what are the chances of him not doing another ten years. Also he just filed a motion to modify his bond since he was the sole provider for our family. And since his arrest we have been evicted lost my truck and about to lose our income properties. Is there any chance on his release prior to his trial due to all this going on. Maybe I'm just looking for hope that isn't there sorry, I'm just lost with all this.
He will get bond, and he can request a bail reduction hearing.
With his prior, it'll be very tough.
I suggest you hire him an attorney, or advise him to request a court appointed one, if he can't afford to AG for one.
Do not allow him to discuss his case over the telephone, or when you visit him at jail.
He needs to say nothing about this matter to anyone, as snitching runs rampant and the federal authorities often issue superseding indictments.
If he knows "something" on others, now is the time to spill it.
But, not before he has consulted with HIS lawyer.
All you can do, is try to keep your home together.
He's facing a very tough battle, and very few federal felonies go unpunished.
That often means mandatory prison time, especially with a felony prior so close to his previous encounter.
