We have custody of a great niece and things are not working out. How to we give her up and let DHR take over.

WE have custody of a 7 year great niece and things are not working out. How do we give up custody and let DHR have her.

You simply contact DHR and advise the agency you can no longer care for the child.
Or, take the child to the nearest DHR Office along with all of her belongings, tell the workers that you are too ill, too old, the child is unruly, or offer some other excuse as to why you can't keep the child.
