If a person has an indictment filed against them, isn't the court required to serve the defendant with something informing them that an indictment has been filed against them?
If a person has an indictment filed against them, isn't the court required to serve the defendant with something informing them that an indictment has been filed against them?
My understanding is that after an indictment the "something" informing them of an indictment is the issuance of a warrant for their arrest which is handed to law enforcement.
