I didn't know where to put this. but my brother and his gf/wife is living in an American's best inn/motel/hotel.
The GF paid for a room for 34 days. Bro, I just got out of jail. The manager said that if they paid 150 more dollars, then he could stay for 34 days. He already paid (I gave them the money). Now, the owner found out and told them they needed to fork out 100 more dollars, or he couldn't stay. Is that legal?

1) You have no dog in this fight. Your brother's gf is the person who should be posting. Who knows what sort of agreement (if any) that she signed with the hotel.

2) Advice for you: focus on yourself. You have a big heart, but you also have your own life challenges to deal with. Distance yourself from your brother's instability.
