In 2004 a judgment lien was filed against me at the county clerks office for any real property. At this time I did not own any propety. I filed chapter 13bankruptcy in 2005 and was granted a dishcarge in 2008. At this time I did not own any property. I am considering purchasing a home but I'm afraid the judgment lien can be attached. I have found several documents online stating a judgment lien does not attach to any real property acquired after the discharge. The thing is I can't find any laws or statutes to back this up.
