I recently signed a lease to get a space for my business and wrote a check for my deposit fee of 1200 which was due the 12th of December and and the check bounced as of the 17th they landlord notified me of this and I did not know it would bounce and I offered to get the money to pay him between today and tomorrow but he said it was too late and he would change the locks. I am just wondering can he file a case against me if I don't give him the money now that he said he will not let me in even if I get the money to him, because the deposit only covers my first two weeks and last two weeks of my lease and I have not even moved in yet . Do I still have to pay if he is going to cancel the lease and not let me move in???

A contract requires offer, acceptance, consideration and a meeting of the minds. You failed to provide the consideration consistent with your agreement. Though it appears he could attempt to pursue the bad check issue, he likely just wants you to go away so he can find a more reliable tenant.
