Me and my girlfriend are being blackmailed for her nudes. She does sell them online, however, she was not going to sell to a guy because he revealed he knew me personally. He then proceded to tell her he would leak her chat and information to my job to get me fired if he didnt get her nudes. She said no, and he threatened to report her to disability. She doenst collect disability yet, but she is finishing her case and may collect soon, in which she planned to stop selling when she does finalize her case. She still said no she wont comply with his demands and he continued to harass her. I did threaten him, and probably will expect legal/criminal consequences myself for this, I understand that. I did say I was going to hurt him for blackmailing us. Obviously its not true because Im seeking legal help, I called the cops but they said hes not threatening violence so its just a civil matter. Today he tried using my threat and cops as leverage to try again and blackmail my girlfriend to give him free pics. We are not complying with his demands so I expect to be arrested tomorrow for the threat. Its crazy that its legal to do this, I work 2 jobs and am only home for like a few hours a week. Like I understand threats are not okay, but I really need help with what legal actions I can take to solve this.

First of all, your GF was stupid to sell her nudes online. It was guaranteed not to end well.

Second, all she had to do was block the guy and not engage with him. Keeping the contact was the second stupid thing she did.

Third, you getting into it with the guy was stupid and threatening him was even more stupid.

You want help with what legal actions you can take to solve this?

Look up criminal defense lawyers on line. Pick a few and have their numbers on hand if you do get arrested.

If you don't get arrested, for Christ sake, you and GF break off contact with the guy and block him. Full stop.

Whatever he does after that might give your GF grounds for a lawsuit. Or he might just do nothing once he knows he can't push her (or your) buttons anymore.

What is her alleged disability? Did she disclose that she earns money as a pornographic model?

I really need help with what legal actions I can take to solve this.

The smart thing to do would be to ditch this girlfriend and consult with a local attorney.

Oh great. Now all of us applying for disability are going to have to prove that not only can't we work a normal 9-5, we'll have to show that we can't even successfully create porn.
