Medical marijuana and the state board of nursing

Hi, I posted a similar question on here earlier but I have recently made progress but not enough. I have discussed it with my school and they are not against students with medical marijuana but they said that after my year of schooling the state board of nursing may not let me sit for the test to get my actual nursing license. This was as much information they could give me and they suggested that I call the state board. I called the state board and they told me that they aren't allowed to speak about it over the phone and that my best option would be to email. I'm currently waiting to hear back so my question is what can I do to look for more information. I would like to come to a conclusion.
