Mining Land

This may sound wierd but i am a teenager, and i need some help.
over the half term i want to go mining for ore then sell it. i have done my research and i know what i'm doing but i have some questions

Can i dig anywhere and what are the legal problems?

Can i get arrested?

Are there any other problems that i need to know?

Plz reply to me as i haven't got long till october

You need a permit if it is not from private property were you are authorized.
You can get arrested for destruction of public and state property.
Some equipments and chemicals for such things can be used only by a licensed and trained person. So make sure you get only those for amateur use.
Contact your local city council for the procedure…………..They often have room for amateurs like you to have fun doing this without getting into trouble. Good Luck! Hope you make a lot of money.
