so i got an MIP but i didnt have any alcohol on me and they didnt brethalize me. i didnt admit to it or deny being drunk but i definatly was. do u think i would ahve a chance pleading not guilty in court??

Not only do you have a "chance to plead not guilty" (as you put it), you have a constitutional RIGHT to do so!
So, here's what I would do, buddy.
Starting right f***ing now, leave "Demon Rum" alone.
You must stay away from drugs and alcohol for my plan (outlined below) to work.
Oh, "Demon Rum" ain't a band name, like my wife once asked; its just another way of saying alcohol, liquor, beer, wine, or any other intoxicant!!!
I'd plead not guilty, ask for a court appointed lawyer (or hire my own), keep my big mouth shut (like you say you've done), and wait!!!!!
No need to rush to your own lynching, is there?
In your state, a lawyer might not be provided by the court for this low level offense.
No worries.
Hire your own lawyer, or wait.
Eventually the state persecutor will offer you a deal.
The deal will go something like this:
You plead guilty or nolo contendre,
Attend some alcohol abuse classes,
Maybe attend some alcohol counseling,
Go into a probation program (supervised or not),
Stay out of ALL other trouble,
Wait in the penalty box,
Let time pass,
Stay in school or get a job,
Do everything the way you're told,
Eventually the time has passed (six months, maybe a year),
You go back to court,
The charge is dismissed,
You followed their rules,
Your record is clean!

i have a medicinal marijuana card in colorado too. I was thinking about saying i wasnt drunk at all and was jus etremely high on my medicine which i think could be used as a valid excuse of why the cop though i was "drunk". what do you think about that??
