I am behind on my property taxes. I paid a partial payment for 2006 and now owe for 2007 as well. I need to make a payment arrangement. Is there any way to work out a payment arrangement to stop incurring interest? If so, who do I need to talk with? Do I talk directly with the IRS or should I hire an attorney to make the arrangements? I am just trying to get this paid off without all the interest. Thank you in advance for any help or advice in this matter.
