Responsability of Debt

My usband is terminaly ill with Pancreatic cancer. We have been married for 3.5 years. All of his debt is debt he had previouse to us getting married and we have no credit together. Am I responsable to pay off his debt after his passing?

If you had been married 35 years, you'd still not be responsible for his personal debt.

Unscrupulous lenders and debt collectors will sometimes prey upon you in your bereavement.

Ignore them, as no surviving relative or spouse is ever responsible for the debts of their deceased loved one!
