Drug Crimes, Substance Abuse restoring gun rights

I was convicted of felony possession of controlled substance (Adderall). I have just completed probation with zero violations. how do I get my gun rights restored? do I have to do something about it or just wait?

so... is mine the three years or the five?? because it was a two year maximum I think but it was possession of controlled substance

The state might restore your rights. The Feds rarely restore the rights of a convicted felon to purchase, own, transport, possess, or even touch a modern day firearm of any kind.
