I park in a garage in downtown NYC. The garage gentlemen actually pulled my car onto Washington Street instead of letting me get in inside the garage. So I got in put my soda on the seat and as I started to pull out to the light i was pulling my seatbelt on. This police officer walks up and asks me for my license (VT license and tags) and registration. Then writes me a summons for not wearing my seatbelt. $40 Charge plus $50 NYS Surcharge plus 3 points on my license. Do I have any chance to fight this garbage ticket?
