Separated, need financial advice

My husband moved out of the house. We are not legally separated or divorced yet. he is claiming that he is entitled to half of my income until the divorce. Is that so? If so, he is responsible for half the bills also, correct?

You do not have to give him anything. Why would he think you have to support him? Is he not working? If you share bank accounts, close them. Ignore him for now but you should talk to an attorney.

I make more than he did and more than he will when he starts his new job. I am taking care of all the bills, except his car payment. I am paying everything else. He left you. He's an idiot times three. His departure is considered abandonment of the marital home.

You owe him nothing, until a judge orders you to pay. No judge will order you to reward an adulterer and one that abandons the marital home.

Monday morning hire a lawyer. Divorce this lustful, useless bum. Charge him with adultery and abandonment. Don't pay him a nickel. Ask for nothing from him. Seek only a divorce. He cheated once. He will cheat again, and has probably cheated before. You don't need a monster like that in your home or your bed!!!!!

Don't communicate anymore with him. Tell him to speak with your lawyer. Tell him you won't be giving him a penny. Tell him to ask HER for money and sex. You're not going to give him anything but divorce papers! Don't say anything else.
