Taking a picture of job applicant during interview

Found it strange that during an interview i had with a company, they asked if they could take a picture of me. Is this fairly normal, or should I have said no.

No, that is by no means standard. But I wouldn't get upset about it unless (a) you don't get the job AND (b) you have some reason to suspect that your race, gender or age are the reason you didn't get the job. For all you know, they wanted to make up an ID card for you.
