What's a good source to get an idea to see if is worth gettting it apprieced…. Or does it cost a pretty penny to get an appraiser.? By the way the adjuster said I have one week to decide if not no payment at all will be made.

It's been 43 days and you haven't taken the time to do a Google search or even (gasp) call a few appraisers?

Address ALL of questions of the insurance adjuster ASSISTING with your claim, AND/OR your attorney, should you OPT to hire one!!!!

Call some. Ask about fees and about any successes they have had with ACV total loss claims.

If the adjuster is implying that you'll never get paid, she is full of crap. As long as the claim remains unpaid, her managers will be looking over her shoulder and asking why.
