Alcohol & Drugs: MIP, MIC, Intoxication WAL-MART: drugtest tomorrow, what if pos?

i had my interview today, everything went great.
tomorrow i have to pie in the cup.
the bad part is that i consumed marijuana yesterday.

right now i am doing everything to pass it.
there is still a good chance that i will test positive but i am willing to take my chances.

if my test will be positive, i know i wont get hired. will it have any other consequences?
will there be legal steps against me?

its a voluntary test, i can still tell them i dont want to work there and not go to the test tomorrow.

your reply can save me alot of trouble, i would be very very thankfull!

in pennsylvania:

it is not illegal to be high? only to posses, smoke, sell etc. marijuana?

cause if thats true, then they cant do anything if i test positive.

From my past... hehe They can't "press charges" or whatever, for you testing positive. As a matter of fact, they can't even tell anyone else that you tested positive. You, the manager, and the lab should be the only people involved.

If you aren't an every day smoker, it's possible to be out of your system quick, but I doubt you will be clear from Yesterday til' today. Try to give it at least a week in the future, and about 18-22 days if you are an every day smoker

right now i am actially thinking if i should work there.

i will have to quit my job 8-21-04 cause my friend will come over from germany. on the 29. my college starts.

they scheduled me for orientation on wednesday (which is 8-11-04).

thats 10 days of work, i bet they would be pissed.

What makes you think they can't find out? I can't do it myself, but I know some people who could find out exactly who you are, using nothing but this posting, in less than an hour. I've seen them do it. And you just told a few million people what you did.
