There are 10's of 1000's of p3ople just like me in the same position. Walmart spark has a lawsuit happening with branch. Us drivers did not spark this lawsuit. When i first started with spark they gave me the option to open and one and a branch account. Never an option to use ACH. Upon signing up to drive for them I opened both and one account and a branch account. I tried from the beginning to receive my funds using the one account. They denied me ( i have correspondence proof) no option was ever in the ddi website under my profile to use anything other than branch. I asked them to ass it several times . They refused and kept giving me the run around and told me to continue to use branch. Finally in May of 2024 they added an option to use my ach to the ddi. I entered my bank information properly the system wouldn't accept it. I reached out to them and got no help. Only excuses. I then closed the one account I had opened in February of 24 because they refused to let me use it. Why have it open with all my person information linked to it? Well when I got the letter saying branch was going away on January 22 and that i would need to use an ACH OR ONE ACCOUNT to receive funds or I'll be terminated... I reopened my one account . Guess what? They still wont accept it but now it's a new excuse. It's because I closed my prior one account on my own will. There has to be something that can be dont about what they are doing to many drivers like myself. I am not out of a job that I enjoyed so very much. Its like they are punishing us for having branch when they made us use it to begin with . Help?????

The help you require can't start here.

However, these fine folks, Idaho state employees, might be the place you start.

File an Idaho Electronic Wage Claim

It will take approximately 30 minutes to file an electronic wage claim. To file a wage claim you will need the following information:
  • Your Social Security number
  • The business name, complete address including zip code and phone number of the employer
  • The dates your work started and ended with the employer.
  • The dates or pay period for which you have not been paid from this employer.
  • A record of the hours worked for the pay period in question and a copy of a pay stub if you have previously received one.
If this is a valid wage claim, the information you provide will be used to determine your wage claim amount. It is important that your information is accurate and complete for all questions asked. Any person making a false claim for wages or other compensation is guilty of a misdemeanor punishable by confinement in the county jail for a period not to exceed six months or by a fine not to exceed $1,000 or both. (Idaho Code, Section 45-612).
Important: Filing a wage claim with the department is NOT your only remedy. Instead of filing a claim with this department, you may file a civil complaint in small claims court or seek the assistance of an attorney. If you choose to file a wage claim with the department, the administrative procedures in Idaho Code, Section 45-617 will provide the exclusive remedy for resolving your wage claim. You will give up your right to file a civil complaint.

Note: Department personnel cannot provide legal advice, however they can explain Idaho labor laws and department procedures. For a referral to an employment attorney, please contact the Idaho State Bar Association at (208) 334-4500.

Warning: Your wage claim will not be processed if you exit before the Confirmation page.

A federal lawsuit was filed against Walmart in December 2024 about the Spark situation.

Of course, it will probably take years to settle.

Meantime, in addition to an Idaho wage claim, see if you can get some help from the Civil Penalty Fund.

Not much else you can do unless you want to file your own lawsuit, which would be complicated and require an attorney, which you probably can't afford.

What does "lawsuit happening with branch" mean?

Are you referring to the lawsuit recently filed by the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau against Walmart and Branch Messenger?

in May of 2024 they added an option to use my ach to the ddi.

Let's play the alphabet game! I know what ACH means, but I have no idea what DDI means in this context.

Not really sure what you expect anyone to make of your post, but it seems like contacting the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, as indicated in the linked article, would be a good idea. Depending on how much money you're owed, contacting a lawyer of your own might be smart.
