Hi, I own my own Website business and I am in negotiations with another website owners. They are wanting me to merge with their Website.

I am wondering what type of lawyer would I need . This would be to possibly draw up a contract or view the contract that the other Website drafts up.

Any licensed Texas general practitioner or business attorney should suffice.

There are dozens of competent attorneys in McClennan County.

Hi since this is an internet business would I need a ecommerce/internet lawyer? Also when I search for ecommerce I don't see any in Waco?

I suppose it depends on how you define "need." Is it an absolute necessity, but it's always of benefit to have an attorney with familiarity with the subject matter of a deal.

The OP (or others in similar situations) certainly doesn't need some supposed representative from a law firm who trolls internet forums for business. Particularly when said representative can't even read/understand basic terms of service.
