MASSIVE TIDAL WAVE of Truth Drowning, Demolishing Donkey & Dimishing Devotees

Country music star John Rich criticized congressional Democrats on Thursday, telling Newsmax they are "drowning in a sea of truth" following the censure of Rep. Al Green, D-Texas, for "breach of proper conduct."

Rich made the remarks during an appearance on "Finnerty," calling Democrats' actions "laughable" and predicting they will continue to lose support.

The House of Representatives voted 224-198 to censure Green, who was removed from the chamber Tuesday after disrupting President Donald Trump's joint address to Congress. Green and some fellow Democrats sang "We Shall Overcome," although 10 Democrats voted with Republicans to censure Green.

"It's one of the most laughable things to me of them saying 'we shall overcome' after what they just put this country through for four years," Rich said. "What are they overcoming? They're trying to overcome the truth. Good luck. The truth is never overcome. There is a tidal wave of truth that is rolling in on these people. And they don't know what to do. They're drowning right now, and they don't know what to do."

Rich mocked Green's outburst and recalled a similar incident involving former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif.

"They are freaking out, flipping out, making themselves look like fools. And I love it. It's entertaining to me to watch it," he said. "To see Al Green shaking his cane and screaming at the president. If you recall, not that many years ago, Nancy Pelosi decided to take Trump's speech and just rip it into shreds right there in front of God and everybody."

Rich asserted that Democrats' behavior is costing them voters.

"They have no respect, as they say, for the rule of law, the rules of their own rules inside that chamber," he said. "They are losing voters every single time they pull another idiotic stunt like this."

According to Rich, Democrats are in "absolute freefall" and struggling to adapt to increased scrutiny.

"This is the first time they've ever been exposed to this level. And we're just getting started," he said. "They are being exposed to a degree no one has ever seen, and they don't know what to do other than, 'Hey, let's all hold up a little sign.'"

Democrat lawmakers faced backlash after attending Tuesday night's joint session of Congress with black signs displaying phrases such as "False" and "Musk Steals," which they repeatedly held up during Trump's speech.

Mocking their tactics, Rich added, "Don't you know, you bunch of numskulls, that if you hold up a sign, we're just going to take that on social media and make memes out of it and just completely wear you out every minute of the day?"

He also pointed to what he called the "irony" of Democrats promoting women's rights while simultaneously opposing restrictions on transgender athletes in a recent vote.

"Even the most asleep among us in the United States are paying attention now," Rich said.

A country singer supporting Trump. There's a shocker, huh? What do I care what what some singer, actor, artist, etc, thinks about politics? There is nothing to indicate John Rich has any expertise in politics nor was anything he said insightful. Certainly nothing newworthy, IMO. I'm kind of surprised you bothered to take the time to cut and paste it.

It is also not a surprise that it was Newsmax that ran it. I've said before that I don't regard Newsmax as a serious news outlet. It is instead a Trump cheerleader media outlet.

I didn't care about the trials and tribulations of Hunter when Biden was in office, and I certainly don't care about his problems now. That he chose to make his living riding his Dad's coattails instead of finding a way to support himself on his own is a story that will be repeated again and again as long as humankind exists. The names will change, but the same basic theme will remain the same.

I always find it amusing that the same people scream about the uselessness of entertainers' opinions when they're for the other side. And let's not forget that we have an "entertainer" in office now.

Politicians are akin to entertainers, as in performers.

Some are better performers than others, but they're all very good at "conning" or "schmoozing" their constituents. Many are extremely good deceivers, as in liars.

As with everything in life, a few are very good grifters and/or conartists. The rest are mediocre, at best, with the majority being sub-par.

Take the House of Representatives, tasked with a budget, but too lazy, ignorant, or trifling to create that budget. Besides, continuing resolutions make scamming that much easier.

You all know who I voted for but the worst thing Trump ever did is tie himself to Elon Musk and his autistic horrible self. I present to you, Edward Coristine. The 19 year old computer hacker who Musk put in charge of hacking peoples SS, Medicaid and Medicare data. Not only is the 19 year old punk in charge of most American's Social Security numbers his grand father was also a double KGB agent who Russia put to death. He is a self serving high school graduate super hacker who thinks he is smarter than anyone else.

This could end up in Trump getting impeached and neutered again. I have no love for what Trump is doing and it is very very dangerous.

You are on a roll baby. Keep it up so we can all see what a nut job you really are.

Yeah with the lowest approval ratings in the history of in coming presidents, lowest stock market in history, California judge just ruled that DOGE firings are illegal, --- the mid terms are going to be a democrat sweep.

You're savior is about to get neutered, and lord help you if you are a Veteran on SSDI, DI or SS retirement.

I don't know where you get your new from, but you are diametrically opposed to what is really happening and what has already happened. Or is it just wishful thinking on your part?

If you want to know how the American people are reacting to Trump, I suggest you watch this video. It is from Rasmussen, the only pollster that has been correct consistently in the last 10 years and the only one that can be trusted to tell the truth without bias.

The Democratic party is finished for the next decade unless they change their focus and agenda something that they apparently are not willing to do. Even a majority of Democrats want Democrats to work with Trump instead of opposing him.

I guess you don't realize that the Dow Jones started at $40.49 ($41,488 yesterday) back in the late 1800's and we saw correction worse than present back in 2020.

  • On Monday, March 9 the Dow fell 2,014 points, a 7.79% drop.
  • On March 12, 2020, the Dow then set another record by falling 2,352 points to close at 21,200. It was a 9.99% drop, and the sixth-worst percentage drop in history.
  • Finally, on March 16 the Dow plummeted nearly 3,000 points to close at 20,188, losing 12.9%. The drop in stock prices was so massive that the New York Stock Exchange suspended trading several times during those days.
So, will you admit you are incorrect when you say, lowest stock market in history?

Veteran on SSDI, DI or SS retirement.

I can only cooment for this 35 year, retired Army combat veteran. I retired as a Colonel O6.

I am, according to the VA,100% disabled; attributable to Agent Orange, receiving a VA disability pension.

The gubmint also sends me my monthly SS transfer payment, maxed out because of my previous earning history.

Upon retiring from my law firm, I'm also receiving a very nice sum from my 401K investments.

Biden was unable to affect my income negatively, neither is the Trumpster.

Along comes the Trumpster, who has not harmed my earned and deserved transfer payments!

My dad was in the air force and getting 100% for Agent Orange is a big deal. It was under a donkey iirc. That is great; if you do not need medical care from the VA though. The wait times are about to go through the roof. It currently sits at hours to speak to someone to probably nonexistent. The markets, banks, jobs, etc. do not like chaos in the administration. This on and off tariff war is not good for any one. Yes mutual funds and money markets have not been hit that hard but the standard stock market is tanking and I hold varied portfolio of stocks, mutual funds, 401ks, HYSAs, Gold, etc. Not to mention unemployment is scarey crazy high more than they are reporting.

If they want to DOGE something why not the USPS, they are terrible anyway and really serve no purpose. That is who should be eliminated not medical services for Vets and there will come a time in the not too distant future. if Trump doesn't stop his King ruling mentality that your checks won't come as a result of a government shut down. Then how will you feel?

I think the Veterans going off on the republician in North Carolina senator was epic. There is crazy on both sides but what we need is someone willing to work and bring people together. A moderate that will heal the nation not fragment and split it apart.

Here again, you show your lack of understanding on what is really happening and on the stock market, mutual funds, which most 401k's are invested in. You make it all up based on your wishful thinking with no understanding of the facts.

No body has been cut from the VA that services our veterans. Only non-essential employees (that do not serve the veterans) have been cut along with millions of dollars of worthless contracts to third party contractor. No services have been cut. It must be more of your wishful thinking or maybe hoping.

When asked the question of whether veterans were waiting longer for care, they responded: Wait Times at Individual Facilities Results the answer was posted 5 days ago:

No. Veterans are not waiting longer for care. Average wait times are now more Veteran-centered, better reflecting the full experience of when their care was requested and received. Averages are representative of general performance and may not represent individual experience, but the upgraded calculation makes the website more reflective of the complete process of requesting and receiving care. New average wait times better align with Veteran experience.

I'm no expert on tariffs but I understand why they are sometimes necessary. When our neighbors (Canada and Mexico) place high tariffs on American imports when the US does not do the same to them it creates a large imbalance on international trade and the US loses to the tune of billions of dollars in trade deficits. By placing tariffs on our neighbors, it sends the message that what is good for you is good for the US. Tariffs are nothing new and they will likely be temporary while new trade agreements are negotiated. The UK also places high tariffs on US goods. You can't sell a US made car in the UK, but they sell their cars here in the US. Maybe you're happy about the US being ripped off the last decade. I wouldn't be surprised.

One more point about Mexico. They import China parts and assemble whatever the product is in Mexico and then import them into the US that circumvents the tariffs on China. That too has to stop.

You may be holding varied portfolio of stocks, mutual funds, 401ks, HYSAs, Gold, etc. but you have proven that you don't understand the markets. You were upset about an equity loss of 5-12K when the market was going through a correction. You think this is the worst stock market in history.

Lack of understanding? I have friends that are nurses and doctors with the VA, I also have a brother who is employed with the USDA in a mid management role. They have let their probationary employees go as a result of this. They also haven't taken them off payroll due to the illegality of the firings. The California judge who said it was illegal firings has resulted in these employees getting significant amounts in back-pay for not even working. So, how does this benefit the American people? You don't know what you are talking about yet again.

I understand markets and investments better than you do apparently. I never said mutual funds and equity markets have been affected nor do I recall posting it. The stock prices of various individual companies and NASDAQ has been greatly affected. It is setting up to be something from the late 1920s if Trump doesn't stop his BS now before it is too late. Too much manufacturing in America has been outsourced and America is too dependent on foreign products/ services for us to enter into a trade war with China or Mexico or Canada.

You should not put your hopes on all the rouge left-wing District Court judges that are making unconstitutional rulings to try to interfere with Trump's constitutional powers. These lawsuits are being overturned one by one. These courts have no constitutional power to tell the Congress or the Executive branch what they can and cannot do. Try and find where the courts have the power of oversite on the Executive branch and let me know when you find it. Trump has to follow the law and that is what he is doing but these judges are making up law in their rulings. The courts don't run the government.

The Judge's ruling on the employees is already on appeal and more will come out today on the stay to the order. So how you know that these employees getting significant amounts in back-pay for not even working is something I question. I think you make these assertions up.

But to the point of veterans getting less care was one of your post's main points. That is not true and instead of staying on point, you choose to change the subject to the firings of employees. I, on the other hand addressed that issue and proved that you are the one that doesn't know what he is speaking about. Nothing has changed on veteran care and according to the website I linked to, the care is getting better.

Why do you always include some sort of insult in your posts? How about you stick to facts.
Yes mutual funds and money markets have not been hit that hard but the standard stock market is tanking and I hold varied portfolio of stocks, mutual funds, 401ks, HYSAs, Gold, etc.
And the point is that mutual funds are based on equities, bonds, futures, indexes, etc. So how goes the market is how goes the mutual funds. Get the picture? Mutual funds that are mainly invested in equities and futures are getting hit as hard as the markets.

So, are you saying (about manufacturing) that instead of bringing American manufacturing back to the US we should just stay reliant on foreign imports and pay tariffs to those countries and keep the huge trade imbalances? That is what is sounds like.

You really are the low IQ voter that Trump relies on. He knew he could depend on the idiotic underclass to keep voting him into office. Your executive KING that you love show much fired all government employees who were on probationary periods while he could regardless of their actual performance. This is unconstitutional as you said, your KING can not make up rules and laws as he goes along. This more or less is coming off as an experiment in whether or not people can survive without any government control in their lives. I didn't think he would do this, I didn't know what Project 2025 is or was and he lied by saying he didn't know what it is.

Trump/ Vance/ Musk is using the Project 2025 down to the letter.

Goodbye.

LOL, your funny. What beliefs do I hold that would be wrong? That average hard working Americans within the Federal government are losing their jobs. that is a fact.

I have no problem with Trump's immigration stance. He has done some good things there, but his DOGE crap is just a fundamental flawed application of cutting spending which is reckless and without merit.
