Political Humor and Satire - Guaranteed to Offend Somebody

I just got through listening to the Tucker Carlson podcast. I understand the Donald Barr and his dum dum son Bill Barr connection but how on earth or why on earth did so many billionaires decide to give Epstein so much money. It is beyond strange.
It's not so easy to just grab underage girls off the streets? That's where a middleman comes in handy...

And in case it needs to be said... I don't care what political beliefs a person has - molest a child or rape anyone? You should be arrested, tried, and - if convicted - sentenced to the maximum allowed by law - with no time off for good behavior, no pardons, nothing. You sit in a cell for the full sentence, Period.

The dude from Abercrombe and Finch wasn't so much into girls I do not think. The podcast said that they referred to Epstein around the office as "the boyfriend".

Are We All Perverts?

The new book Perv, The Sexual Deviant in All of Us, raises provocative questions

Psychologist Jesse Bering is a man after my own heart. His new book, Perv, the Sexual Deviant in All of Us, attacks the modern attempt to label sexually uncommon or misunderstood behaviors as inherently deviant and dysfunctional. Bering's book follows the history of the concept of sexual deviance, tracing the development and use of the terms fetish, paraphilia, and perversion. Like my own writing, Bering's work is intended to defend many of the individuals shunned by society and labeled as "perverts," and to provoke questions about our views of sexual deviance. As psychology and science grow in knowledge about sexual behaviors, we find that there are far, far, far, more individuals out there who are interested in aspects of sexuality that we formerly believed were rare, and evidence of disordered desire.

Did you know that the term "pervert" was originally applied to atheists? This tidbit of history, one of the many delightful details in the book, sets the stage for a long history, where anyone engaging in socially unacceptable behaviors is called a pervert. Perversion was once a clinical term, used in the 19th century, which still found some clinical use in Freudian and psychodynamic literature. For the most part, it's fallen out of clinical use, as a stigmatizing, subjective term. However, in some fields, such as the sex addiction industry, the term and concept are still used. Patrick Carnes, father of the sex addiction industry, published an article in 2001, where he termed perversion as "eroticized rage," an expression of people's anger with social conventions, and a key factor of sex addiction.

The clash between socio-cultural norms and an individual's sexual behaviors or desires may very well create distress, dysfunction and conflict. But that is a social issue, not a medical one. There are many, many sexual behaviors that can be functional in one environment or culture, but not in others (more on this in just a bit). That variance reflects the cultural differences, and should not be used as evidence of sexual disorder.

Bering terms the great majority of social attacks on sexual deviancy to reflect underpinnings of "moral panic," driven by fear and lack of understanding, often based on the notion that thoughts, fantasies and desires, even when kept completely in the mind, can still reflect sin and deficit. As Bering discusses sexual fantasies, I was reminded of the many sex addiction proponents who identify that sexual fantasy is equivalent to "relapse," and that even one's thoughts must be kept under strict control, to prevent an inevitable slide in degeneracy and uncontrolled sexual behavior.1753741311652.png

And get a shiv in the gut.

Criminals are OK with some crimes but not child rape or molestation. There have been pedophiles killed in prison.

The sexual deviants amongst us are very active.

They are everywhere.

SAN FRANCISCO -- A Delta Airlines pilot who was taken from the cockpit after landing at San Francisco International Airport Saturday night has been arrested on child sexual abuse charges out of the East Bay.

Delta Flight 2809 had just arrived from Minneapolis when a group of local and federal law enforcement agents suddenly boarded the plane and stormed the cockpit.

The Contra Costa County Sheriff's Office says the 34-year-old pilot was arrested and booked on felony charges for sex acts with a child under the age of 10. He is being held at the Martinez Detention Facility on a $5 million bond.

The sheriff's office says they've been investigating the pilot since April 2025 after receiving a report of sex crimes against a child.

A spokesperson for Homeland Security Investigations told ABC San Francisco affiliate KGO this is not a federal investigation but they did assist with the arrest since it happened at SFO.

An official with the Department of Homeland Security also told ABC News the pilot is facing charges relating to child sexual abuse material.

Passengers aboard the flight posted video online showing agents walking through the aisle of the plane. The sheriff's office says it was a group of Contra Costa County detectives with the assistance of Homeland Security Investigations.

A passenger named Sarah, who didn't want to disclose her last name, told KGO federal agents rushed on board just after the plane landed and passengers began reaching for their bags.

Sarah counted at least 10 agents, some wearing badges she recognized as Homeland Security.

"They barged through and stormed the cockpit," she said. "They removed the co-pilot, cuffed him, presumably arrested him, and brought him back down the aisle to deplane. I don't know if this person was disappearing before our eyes, if there had been a crime committed, or what exactly was happening."

She added that fellow passengers, flight attendants and even the remaining pilot appeared just as confused by the situation. Despite arriving safely, the incident stayed with her long after she left the airport.

"It was scary. It was traumatic to watch," Sarah said.

While it appears the pilot lived in the East Bay in the past, FAA Records show he now lives in Miami, Florida, that he got his pilot certificate in 2022 and that he's rated to fly 757 and 767 jets.

The Contra Costa County Sheriff's Office says they'll put out a statement about this later on Monday.

This dramatic incident comes amid a string of recent airline-related scares:

A grandmother on another Delta flight says she stopped a fellow passenger from trying to enter the cockpit.

A Southwest flight descended rapidly to avoid a Hawker Hunter aircraft, leaving passengers frightened.

And on Sunday, passengers aboard an American Airlines flight out of Denver were forced to evacuate shortly after an aborted takeoff.
