i am a disabled person living in a nursing home. Social Secuirty sent an application to me and it went to the business office and opened. Isn't there a privacy law to stop this? I do not want anyone looking at mail addressed to me.

You need to review the agreements made when you moved in. You may have given permission for them to handle your mail as a service to you.
