How is the grantor's name supposed to be written if the property is owned jointly? Do both names have to be on there as grantors?

I would suggest that you seek legal guidance specific to your situation. There is too much at stake if you do it wrong.

Let's put it this way: if only one owner's name is on the deed, then only that owner's interest is being conveyed.

Also, "owned jointly" tells us nothing other than that there is more than one owner.

The following links are from Florida licensed attorneys.

You need to seek real legal advice from the attorney you choose to retain.

Yes, it'll cost you something.

Doing otherwise, however, will cost you perhaps, EVERYTHING!!!

Don't risk big problems seeking important legal advice via the internet.

PERUSE THEM AT YOUR LEISURE.
They'll prove to be most informative.

I suggest you hire an attorney.
If you choose NOT to hire a lawyer, you'll never receive the legal advice you desire.

Online discussion sites discuss the law GENERALLY, and never dispense specific legal advice.

Why?

It isn't legal, nor sanctioned by the licensing bodies for attorneys.

Good luck, thread closed as it can't provide the specificity you desire.
