She screwed herself.
You're not responsible for what could happen to her.
She screwed you.
If you file a police report, the state will help you get a divorce, because she's a bigamist.
There is no divorce.
Tribal courts are useless, unless you're an Indian.
Even if you could pay for a lawyer, she'd still get in the trouble that she deserved.
So, if you want no trouble for her (or to have her face justice), you can just keep your mouth closed.
Legally you are still married to her, and she isn't married to him.
This is her mess.
Only the government can clean it up now.
Post your email in your reply and we can communicate that way.
Still learning to use this forum....but anyways is there a way to go about getting a divorce...if all this tribal jurisdiction stuff turns out to be true...and we are not legally divorced? I am just now getting back on my feet after this whole ordeal....long story...but I am living with my son at the present and my daughter is in college at NSU in Oklahoma. I just want this to be over and not cause any hard feelings with anyone of them...to include him and her.....I don't want to have her arrested if at all possible....just not sure how to file for a divorce now that she has re-married and all. I am limited on funds as to hire a lawyer at the present time. I am going to have my son contact her and see if we can work out something on the back taxes and the finalization of a legal divorce.....what is your advice on how to go about this without an arrest?
Yes mother is always right, hope your wifes recovery goes well. Our court date is in Nov. now. Sorry I havent gotten back with you been terribly busy. Our judge is Spencer Brown in 216th District court of Kerr county. I was asking to see if there is a way to reguest a hearing before the judge previous court date, the defendant has an attorney now and the court date was moved to Nov. this will be a year in Oct. he pushed the court with continuances that he was allowed hoping we would just give up I suppose, but he lost just the same. Im hoping to get this over with, and again I think because he has an attorney and we cant afford council that we will let it drop. Thank you for all your help and seeming genuine concern. All of your information has been extremely helpful.
Thanks
Ginny
Hey, GW, thanks for the invite. But, my wife had knee replacement surgery today (her right knee). So, I'm kinda busy trekking back and forth to the hospital. They're keeping her for observation and acclimation for a couple of days. You never know, I just might get over that way. In what court is your case being tried? Who's the judge?

I'll try to sneak a peek at the case and see if anything pops out at me. If I can do that and see anything, I'll get a note off to you.

You're right, Kerrville a pretty place. But, my mother was born in Port Arthur and always said, "There's nothing ugly about anywhere in Texas." Of course, mother was right. Mother was always right.
Army judge got a notice of change of hearing date. Can I request prompt resolution of this case. Remember I filed in Oct. of last year, and the defendant requested 2 continuances, as is his legal right. This case is now in district appellate court and Im not wanting to wait another year. Is there any way to force this court date. By the way I read and read and read last night on the site you told me about. Very useable site greatly appreciate the lead.
Thanks
Ginny
Army thanks for the info, it will help me tremendously. Of course this case has already been tried in civil court and my evidence is overwhelming. I will reseach the objection rules you mentioned. As a retired judge I certainly trust and appreciate all your help. Want to drive to Kerrville on Monday and see how it plays out, you are more than welcome. After all we live in one of the most beautiful areas of Texas, the hill country. Photo opportunities are limitless, the fishing is good, the hunting is great and the rest is just fun. Would be pretty neat if you showed up and I suppose you would be my second chair. Ok thats the humor, but again you would always be welcome. I feel like a teenager in high school, I havent done this much research in years.
Thanks again,
Ginny
I'm someone who doesn't have time to play games. If you don't trust me, don't email me. I regularly help people in custody situations. I am very busy and I know what I'm doing. If you want my help and advice email me I'm not going to prove myself to you. If you want to pay me $7500 I'll send you a resume. Don't be insulting asking for free advise and help and then questioning who I am.
Who are you exactly, and why would you want to help me anyway? I am not trying to rude, but I am very leary of anyone trying to be "helpful" to me these days.
Mark, if you want me to answer your question contact me personally at gahousetrust@gmail.com. The short answer is you need to legitimate your child before DFCS takes her the long answer is that abandonment is after a year. email me.
If my child's mother left me and my daughter and hasn't come back or done anything for my child in over 2 months, but my child is not legitimized as of now, is this considered abandonment? My child is 19 months old and her mom and I were never married. She decided she did not want the job of full-time motherhood and left to pursue other"interests".
Hey - it is worth it to complain about a moderator here - and if so, where do you do it?

One moderator in particular has given me & others a hard time on a lot of our posts - instead of answering the question at hand this mod would rather judge and condescend as if she's Judge Judy.
You're welcome....I just filed suit against my employer early this year...it's a tough road, but if you have info in writing, that is your "proof". I have lots in writing....signed, sealed and delivered direct from my manager and sup...truly, they made the whole thing rather simple for me...
