My manager's position was eliminated in June under the pretense that her job was being absorbed into another department. As a result my position was also recently eliminated. I have just learned that in fact a new person will be taking on her responsibilities and that my position was not actually eliminated, but rather "reassigned" to another as well. Does this give me bargaining rights to request extended severance considering my outstanding performance throughout and present poor market conditions?

My daughter got a MIP tonight. She was sitting outside in her car she took her friends dad home who was drunk. Her car was parked. The police officer pulled up behind her and flashed his lights. The officer had her do the breath test right after her friend. She blew a 0.018. My husband showed up at that time and said the officer was being very rude to my daughter. My husband insisted on another test. She reblew and again blew over. My husband then asked for a blood test and the officer refused. We took my daughter to the ER for testing the will not test blood unless the person is brought in by officer. We had the drug testing people come and give a nother breath test it was 55 minuets ofter the officer tested and my daughter blew a 0.00 My daughter friend died in a drunk driving accident, I belive my daughter when she said she didn't drink, Please help us

Please help me determine if this "money making" scheme is legal or not.

I would be setting up an "email marketing list" - this is the service that would be provided.

It starts off with a list of 5 email addresses, I pay the one on top and the one on bottom $5 each (using Paypal) - requesting to be added to their email list. Then I add my email to the bottom and move everyone up, removing the one that was on top. Then I post to message boards, etc... If all works as planned, I would be making a lot of money in a short amount of time - and creating a large email marketing list for future opportunities.

I do not want to do this if it is an illegal pyramid scheme. However, a service is being provide here - so, is this Legal?

I was sitting here watching TV eating sunflower seeds I had just bought from 7-11 just an hour and a half ago. I found a small looking pine needle sticker thing with like needles somewhat type of a sticker I think. I had put it in my mouth without knowing along with other sunflower seeds I got out of the bag, the needles cut my tongue and made my tongue bleed. I have the bag the receipt and pictures of my tongue bleeding. I tried to call the company but they are closed until Monday. What should I do?

I need some advice. I recently was terminated for not meeting 95% cashier performance. I was at a 93% between the time they released me after a half a day until the day they terminated me which was about a 2 month time. I was just wondering if there is anything that I can do because of my learning disability(which I have had since I was in elementary school and have documentation of) and for the fact that another co-worker was let go because she didn't meet it also. The thing is when they released me after a half a day, they said they would meet with me again to let them know what I decided if I still wanted to work for them or not. They never did have that meeting nor did they call me into the office. The day they terminated me, the SD asked me if remember him saying something about 100% daily and I said no and the witness that was there corrected him and said it was 95%. How can a cashier possibly meet 95% daily if they have issues that they have to deal with everyday brought on by their own dept.? Ex. Items not ringing up right, payment cards not working, items not in the system... When I brought up some of these issues as to why I thought I couldn't meet it, he interrupted me and said that all the other cashiers have the same ones and they can hit it so why cant you. I went to talk to my union stewards and they said they would talk to the Union rep. but I have never heard anything back and this was a couple weeks ago. The Union Rep. did say that he would try to get me a transfer a couple months ago within the company but I never heard anything back about that either before I was terminated. I was just wondering if there is anything I can do legally. Thank You.

I signed up for this gym and within a couple of weeks I decided to cancel. I was informed that I needed to write a letter in order to cancel, to pay a $25 cancellation fee and visit the gym at least 12 times, I did exactly as they told me and all a month before my the trial membership was over. Those scammers told me that I didn't visit the gym 12 times, that they were not going to refund my $25 but I everything that was required, I just can't prove the amounts of time I visited the gym. I need to know if I have a chance to fight this.

I am a resident of Kentucky and am at the end of a 36 month lease. The value of the vehicle was $22,500 when I leased it, and I put $12,500 down in the form of a trade in, leaving $10,000. Now I am being told that I have no equity in the vehicle and must pay $15,500 to buy it outright? How can this be possible?

I know when the court date is, and i am aware the DA is trying to reach me. but if i never receive the subpeona, will i still be in trouble if i don't show up to court?

is it legal for innocentive.com to keep project room open pass the deadline for challenges they post on there website. i am solver who has submitted proposals waiting to get verdict on some entries. this forum informed me it was a special need by the seeker to keep project room opens pass the deadline; but to me it shows bias. want should be a good course of action.
